OVERVIEW
LiPoint Inc., an enhanced mucosal drug delivery company with near-term, proprietary formulations of current systemic drug products and unique future drug delivery opportunities has several lead products within one to two years of clinical testing. The proven technology which provides the basis for the formulations under development has the potential to enable delivery of a much broader range of drugs across mucosal membranes than has previously been possible, including relatively large peptides and possibly proteins and particles, without compromising the integrity of the mucosal barrier which is integral to protection against inhaled pathogens. Organized with minimal overhead to efficiently deliver new products rapidly and with limited investment prior to proof-of-concept, LiPoint will carry out formulation development in countries where costs are lower and timelines accelerated compared with its traditional competitors.
