OVERVIEW
LiPoint Inc., is a development stage biopharmaceutical company focused on rapid acting therapies for acute medical conditions such as pain, and hormonal imbalances. Initially our technology is useful for nasal drug delivery however it can also be applied for other mucosal routes of administration. LiPoint's unique proprietary technology was developed in Sweden and is derived from commercialized topic drug delivery technology. LiPoint has several late stage preclinical lead products about to enter human clinical testing. The technology which provides the basis for the formulations under development has the potential to enable delivery of a much broader range of drugs across mucosal membranes than has previously been possible, including poorly soluble drugs and relatively large peptides and proteins and without compromising the integrity of the mucosal barrier which is integral to protection against inhaled pathogens. Organized with minimal overhead to efficiently deliver new products rapidly and with limited investment prior to proof-of-concept, LiPoint will carry out formulation development in countries where costs are lower and timelines are accelerated compared with its traditional competitors.
