LiPoint Inc.

Enhanced Mucosal Drug Delivery
Key Investment Highlights

Large untapped market potential for enhanced nasal drug delivery technology

nWhereas 2% of drugs are currently administered through the mucosal tissues of the nasal cavity, resulting in a total of 43.8MM total prescriptions and $3.4Bn in retail/non-retail sales are via the nasal cavity, only 4.6MM prescriptions are for non-nasal/allergy products, with a market value in 2005 of around $500MM. The market for a rapid-onset, breakthrough pain product administered safely via the nasal mucosa will exceed $2.5Bn by 2015.

Late stage pre-clinical development program

nNovel LiPoint-based technology is already proven safe and effective for dermal drug delivery.
